Dr. Josh Ghaim to Moderate at International Dialogue on Migration: Hosted by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the “Diaspora Private Sector Conversation” will be moderated by Dr. Josh Ghaim, Chairman of the Board, African Diaspora Network (ADN). This pivotal panel, part of the 2024 International Dialogue on Migration, is scheduled for May 22 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Discussions will focus on the impactful roles diaspora leaders play in shaping migration policies, fostering investments, and ensuring regular migration pathways.

Applications are going to open up this Spring 2024, for the Accelerating Black Leadership and Entrepreneurship (ABLE) program. ABLE is an enterprise accelerator by the African Diaspora Network designed to strengthen, energize, and support startups and small businesses led by Black entrepreneurs in the United States. This webinar provides a program overview and addresses eligibility requirements, the application process, program details, and provides some tips for a competitive application.

BAF Information Session

Now in its seventh year, BAF plans to award 15 to 20 of Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs with enterprise development training, partnership and mentorship opportunities, and a platform to boost brand visibility and investment potential in Silicon Valley.

  • Are you a business owner/ founder of a company or non-profit organization that is headquartered in any country in Africa?
  • Does your business address a community or larger social issue?
  • Do you have at least 4 hours per month for 4 months to commit to the program?

If the answers are yes, then BAF sounds like a great fit! The application portal opens on January 31st.
