Nasser Diallo is the Founder & CEO of Clinic+O, a social enterprise that builds technology-enabled solutions to eliminate barriers to accessing quality healthcare for marginalized communities in West Africa. Before starting Clinic+O, Nasser worked as a Public Policy Analyst at Facebook where he helped design programs that support digital literacy, prevent internet shutdowns and stimulate the growth of the digital economy in sub-Saharan Africa. Nasser has a BA from The George Washington University, and Master’s degrees from Oxford University (UK) and Sciences Po (France).

Nishern Govender is a seasoned clinical pharmacist, with a Pharmacy degree from WITS; a Master of Pharmacy degree and a Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacology from UKZN. He has over 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector holding positions in clinical practice within community and institutional pharmacy, both in private and public healthcare; clinical research and academia. He is currently the Head of Medical and Scientific Affairs for Haleon South and Sub-Saharan Africa and still maintains an active role in clinical pharmacy, as well as pharmacist education in the rational use of medicine and patient safety.

Nishern will be representing the Self-Care Association of South Africa as the industry lead in the e-leaflet pilot to be rolled out in South Africa early next year.

Dr Josephine Fubara is Chief Science Officer for Sanofi Consumer Health Care where she and her team are responsible for innovation for over a €5billion business. She is an R&D leader with over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Sanofi, Josephine was the Global R&D Head of all OTC categories at Bayer and spent 18+ years in various technical and business roles at Pfizer leading innovation and development in key categories like Pain, Respiratory and Digestive Health. Josephine obtained a Pharmacy degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria and a Ph.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina.
