AFRICA IN MOTION POST U.S. - Africa Futures Summit REFLECTION

3:00 - 5:00 PM ET

BEYOND REMITTANCES IN ACTION EVENING RECEPTION

5:30 - 7:30 PM ET

Overview

In the weeks following the U.S. – Africa Futures Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, ADN and Humanity United invite a select group of leaders, practitioners, and partners for a candid reflection on what was said, what it means, and what comes next. Centered on the theme “Africa in Motion: Migration, Mobility, and Demographic Change,” this invitation-only convening brings together speakers who took the stage in Addis Ababa to share their firsthand reflections on the summit’s outcomes and their implications for Africa’s development trajectory.

The afternoon opens with a moderated panel discussion, followed by structured networking and roundtable conversation. The day continues that evening with a Beyond Remittances in Action: Evening Reception celebrating the opening of ADN’s new Washington, D.C. office – an opportunity to translate summit-level dialogue into grounded, actionable connections while marking a new chapter for ADN in the nation’s capital.
