Ham Serunjogi
Ham is the Co-Founder & CEO of Chipper Cash. As CEO, Ham heads the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the company’s overall direction and strategy. After graduating from Grinnell College in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Ham began his career at Meta where he worked in their Dublin, Ireland, office and was responsible for building partner relationships with some of the company’s biggest UK advertisers. Ham serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater Grinnell College, where he is one of four Trustees that sit on the Investment Committee which is charged with overseeing and allocating the College’s approximately $3.5B endowment. In September 2023, President Biden appointed Ham as one of the inaugural 12 members of the President’s Advisory Council on African Diaspora Engagement in the United States, which aims to enhance dialogue between U.S. officials and the African diaspora. Ham will serve for the 2023-2025 term. On a personal level, Ham swam competitively for many years and competed in the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, representing Uganda. Prior to attaining his degree, Ham attended the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa where he was elected President of its Students’ Council. Ham is based out of Chipper’s global headquarters in San Francisco, California.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa
Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa OON, has been described as a sterling Nigerian amazon, an outstandingly brilliant broadcaster who later transmitted to an outstandingly brilliant parliamentarian. A compassionate, fair, firm respected and courageous leader. Mama Diaspora ,as she is fondly called, pioneered efforts in putting Nigerian Diaspora Affairs on the front burner. As pioneer Chairman House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, her major spotlight was in her advocacy for fairness and justice abroad, anywhere in the world.
Before her foray into Politics, she served at the NTA for 15 years, where she was fondly called ” Mother Teresa of the Tube , for using television to change lives. After serving three times in Parliament, she voluntarily decided not to seek re-election.
She later served as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora form 2016 and now she is the pioneer Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) a position she is serving with diligence, effectiveness and passion.
Kelly Chibale
Kelly Chibale is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Cape Town (UCT) where he holds the Neville Isdell Chair in African-centric Drug Discovery & Development. He is also a Schmidt Sciences AI2050 Senior Fellow, Full Member of the UCT Institute of Infectious Disease & Molecular Medicine, Founding Director of the South African Medical Research Council Drug Discovery Research Unit at UCT, Founder & Director of the UCT Holistic Drug Discovery and Development Centre (H3D), and Founder & CEO of the H3D Foundation.
Lamine Savadogo
Lamine Savadogo is the Founder and President of Marison Energy Systems, an International Business Development firm bridging the United States and Africa through technological, commercial and financial partnerships. With over three decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning government, academia and the corporate sector, Mr Savadogo has been a transformative force in strengthening US-Africa business relations.
As Global Ambassador for International Programs at the Edison Electric Institute, Mr Savadogo leads strategic engagements in Electricity Diplomacy advocating electrification as a pathway to industrialization and economic development across the African continent.
His non-profit organization, Sun Powered Water Works has already provided clean drinking water to thousands in Rural Mali, demonstrating his deep commitment to sustainable impact.

Agnieszka has held numerous leadership positions as founder of two companies, Winkler Advertising and TeamToolz until they were acquired and on boards of directors of public and private companies such as RenoAir, SuperCuts, Cheesecake Factory and numerous not for profits such as Ascension Health, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, the board of trustees of Holy Names University.
She currently serves on the board of African Diaspora Network, the Executive Committee of the Board of the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at SCU, as a Trustee of Santa Clara University and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Jesuit School of Theology. She has a deep interest in building more equitable societies through social impact enterprises.

Having worked in Africa since 2002, Anupam has built deep relationships and network across the region. He has expanded the footprint of Catalyst with subsidiaries in nine countries in Africa and Middle East, creating a niche Digital Transformation Consulting Company with 500+ enterprise customers in over 40 countries.
Anupam continues to invest in Africa as it’s the last emerging continent going through rapid technological, social, and economic changes. Technology is a key driver for digital transformation and Anupam is harnessing this growth by creating a bridge between Silicon Valley and Africa.

British A. Robinson is a true changemaker and influencer with a passion for solving some of the world’s most intractable problems. Since beginning her career in private banking and retail operations at Citibank, she has gone on to lead transformative nonprofit and government initiatives around the globe. Robinson brings a unique, dynamic combination of strategic vision, financial acumen, empathy, on-the-ground experience, energy, and laser focus on execution to her work.
A mission-driven executive, seasoned diplomat, and development finance leader with expertise in blended finance, impact investing, and capital mobilization, she has spearheaded large-scale, innovative Presidential initiatives to drive economic growth and improve public health through public-private partnerships, corporate social responsibility initiatives, government relations, advocacy, and policy.
Of all the causes Robinson has had the privilege of championing, she considers the opportunity to improve lives and livelihoods in Africa her greatest passion. Most recently, Robinson was appointed by the Biden administration to lead Prosper Africa, a Presidential- level national security initiative to advance the ability of African countries to drive their own economic
growth and strengthen economic ties between the U.S. and the continent. In this role, she collaborated closely with the White House, reported to the National Security Council, and coordinated 17 participating U.S. federal agencies to forge true partnerships with businesses, investors, and government leaders to tackle pressing economic growth priorities including energy transition, fintech, health tech, and ag tech, as well as supported the early entrepreneur/startup/small business ecosystem in Africa. During her tenure, Prosper Africa drove more than $62B in trade and investment deals, fostering opportunities that connect vibrant African markets with U.S. businesses.
Robinson’s diplomatic service also includes her tenure at the U.S. Department of State as the Deputy Coordinator/Director of Private Sector Engagement for the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) under President George W. Bush. Additionally, during her time at the State Department, she held a special assignment as Director and Special Advisor to Secretary Clinton’s Office of Global Women’s Issues, where she led health and education partnerships, during the Obama administration.
She has also leveraged her strong vision and execution capabilities as the top executive at some of the nation’s leading nonprofits dedicated to addressing critical challenges including HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular disease, cancer, refugee issues, and low literacy. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, she reimagined the organization’s mission and strategy to position it for long-term sustainability and impact. As Founding CEO of the Women’s Heart Alliance, she launched a unique collaboration between the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute and Weill Cornell Medical Center. In these roles, she managed multi-million-dollar budgets, spearheaded fundraising efforts, and created unique awareness and marketing campaigns. Her extensive nonprofit leadership experience also includes service in senior positions at Women for Women International, Susan G. Komen, the U.S. Jesuit Conference, and Jesuit Refugee Services. Robinson holds a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in public policy and business administration from George Washington University, and has received honorary doctorate degrees from American University and Fairfield University. She serves as a Senior Advisor for Concordia; on the boards of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group, Jesuit Refugee Service/USA, and Leadership Roundtable; and on the advisory board of Arlington Partners International.
Dana N. François is a transformative global executive leader who combines analytical precision with creative innovation. As a Program Officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, she manages a significant portfolio in Haiti impacting over a dozen communities and countries worldwide. François serves as Board Chair for NEID Global, Board Member for Root Capital, and is the first woman President and Board Chair of both the Haiti Biodiversity Fund and the Caribbean Biodiversity Network.

Fredros Okumu is a Professor of Vector Biology (Infectious Disease Ecology) at the University of Glasgow, School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine; and was formerly the Director of Science at Ifakara Health Institute, Tanzania (2016-2023). He is a public health researcher and a mosquito biologist working on improved approaches for control of vector-borne diseases. Fredros is also passionate about improving ecosystems for young researchers in Africa. He serves in various advisory groups including WHO Malaria Policy Advisory Group (MPAG) and the Gates Foundation’s Malaria Strategic Advisory Panel (MSAP)
Fridah is an active leader in facilitating the African Diaspora towards entrepreneurship and investments in Europe and Green SMEs development in Africa. Fridah is the Founder of Zidicircle, an organization that facilitates diaspora-led development by activating the entrepreneurial and investing potential of the diaspora through training and enabling the Pooling of diaspora angel investments into green SME’s through the Zidicircle Coop investment vehicle.
With a rich commercial, development and Finance background, Fridah sits in various boards and foresees the fund management of the Diaspora investment vehicle-Zidicircle Coop that she initiated.
She was recognized by the European Union(EMEN project) for promoting migrant entrepreneurship, the Duisenberg Woman in Finance award, listed by the municipality of Amsterdam as the top female entrepreneur and listed as a top female entrepreneur in the Netherlands by Sheatwork.
Ghislain Irakoze is a social entrepreneur, digital inclusion practitioner, and advocate. He founded Wastezon, an award-winning social enterprise that leverages AI to repurpose electronic materials into low-cost devices for consumers with a mission of igniting digital transformation and circular economy. To date, he has led his team in empowering over 15000 Rwandan households with low-cost refurbished devices. In advocacy, Ghislain is a Data Value Advocate at Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, working with 6 East African organizations to examine AI contextualization needs for African users. As a former Research Fellow at the World Wide Web Foundation and Planet ReImagined, Ghislain sits on the Global Greengrants Fund’s Next Gen Climate Board and previously served on the EU Commission-International Partnerships’ Youth Sounding Board. He holds a BA in International Business and Trade from the African Leadership University and is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Oxford.
Janet Midega is the Research Lead for Drug Resistant Infections at Wellcome, where she is providing scientific leadership, program development and management support to the Infectious disease program on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). At Wellcome, she leads the work on the global burden of AMR, including Wellcome’s work on AMR surveillance and epidemiology to inform evidence-based interventions. Janet works closely with ministries of health and other partners in low and middle countries, and also leads research activities at the intersection of science and policy implementation for Antimicrobial Resistance. Prior to joining Wellcome, Janet was a research scientist at Imperial College, London and the University of Oxford, Big Data Institute; in collaboration with the KEMRI- Wellcome Trust Research Programme where she worked for over 15 years conducting academic research on the genomic epidemiology of malaria. Janet is also a Senior Fellow in Public Health at the Aspen Institute, Washington DC, USA.
Jonathan Katende is the CEO and Co-Founder of Lipaworld, a fintech platform empowering African immigrants and diaspora communities with seamless remittance services via a digital voucher marketplace and its Stablecoin peer-to-peer wallet. Born in the DRC and raised in South Africa, Jonathan’s immigrant experience fuels his mission to bridge financial gaps for underserved populations. With a career spanning global companies like Samsung and DIDI, he brings expertise in growth strategy and innovation.
