Agnieszka has held numerous leadership positions as founder of two companies, Winkler Advertising and TeamToolz until they were acquired and on boards of directors of public and private companies such as RenoAir, SuperCuts, Cheesecake Factory and numerous not for profits such as Ascension Health, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, the board of trustees of Holy Names University.
She currently serves on the board of African Diaspora Network, the Executive Committee of the Board of the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at SCU, as a Trustee of Santa Clara University and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Jesuit School of Theology. She has a deep interest in building more equitable societies through social impact enterprises.
Ghislain Irakoze is a social entrepreneur, digital inclusion practitioner, and advocate. He founded Wastezon, an award-winning social enterprise that leverages AI to repurpose electronic materials into low-cost devices for consumers with a mission of igniting digital transformation and circular economy. To date, he has led his team in empowering over 15000 Rwandan households with low-cost refurbished devices. In advocacy, Ghislain is a Data Value Advocate at Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, working with 6 East African organizations to examine AI contextualization needs for African users. As a former Research Fellow at the World Wide Web Foundation and Planet ReImagined, Ghislain sits on the Global Greengrants Fund’s Next Gen Climate Board and previously served on the EU Commission-International Partnerships’ Youth Sounding Board. He holds a BA in International Business and Trade from the African Leadership University and is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Oxford.
Jonathan Katende is the CEO and Co-Founder of Lipaworld, a fintech platform empowering African immigrants and diaspora communities with seamless remittance services via a digital voucher marketplace and its Stablecoin peer-to-peer wallet. Born in the DRC and raised in South Africa, Jonathan’s immigrant experience fuels his mission to bridge financial gaps for underserved populations. With a career spanning global companies like Samsung and DIDI, he brings expertise in growth strategy and innovation. A Western Union Foundation Fellow and ADN ABLE participant, Jonathan is dedicated to leveraging technology to foster economic transformation and empower Africa’s diaspora through connectivity and inclusion.
