How do I apply?

There are several steps to apply for a visa. The order of these steps and how you complete them may vary by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Please consult the instructions on the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website.

I want to apply for a US visa for the purpose of a conference, what are the requirements?
Please read the consulate website carefully for all the documentation required, but generally you will need the following:
  • A valid passport
  • A completed online visa application (Form DS-160)
  • A recent passport photo
  • Proof of fund

  • Proof of ties to your home country

How do I obtain a visa invitation letter from ADN?

Please note that at this time, we are only issuing visa invitation letters to people who have already purchased their ADIS25 tickets. We have a generous return policy and should your visa be denied, your ticket will be fully refunded. After purchasing your ticket here you can request your visa letter by filling the form on this page.

Does attending a conference guarantee my visa approval?

No it does not. Visa approval are at the discretion of the embassy.

What is the appointment wait time?

Are there any fees?

Yes, you will need to pay a $185.00 non-refundable visa application fee – or whatever the local currency equivalent is in your embassy. If your visa is approved, you may also need to pay a visa issuance fee, if applicable to your nationality. Additional fee may apply depending on your country of origin, please refer to your US embassy in your country for more information.
