African Diaspora Investment Symposium 2025 (ADIS25) is the tenth annual global convening that celebrates and champions the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of Africans, African Diasporans, and friends of Africa. Hosted by the African Diaspora Network, the symposium inspires and equips participants to be agents of change and active contributors to development of Africa and the communities in which the diaspora lives. The conference activates the potential of collaboration, drawing participants from 89 different countries over the last nine years. African Diaspora Network invites you to our signature event, the premier convening of the African investment ecosystem in Silicon Valley. Join us as we celebrate ten years of fostering the ingenuity of the African community at home and abroad alongside champions from around the world.

2025 Theme: “Beyond Remittances: The Roles of Africans in the Diaspora in Unlocking Transformational Investments”

Purpose

The African Diaspora Investment Symposium 2025 offers a platform for thoughtful and strategic discussions about the critical approaches, innovations, and infrastructure to help Africa achieve a prosperous future.

Objectives

  • Inform attendees about trending innovations, policies, and strategies that explore the intersection of climate change with technology, healthcare, finance, education, agriculture, and renewable energy
  • Engage Africans, Diasporans, and friends of Africa representing government, corporations, foundations, nonprofits, multilateral agencies, and community-based organizations who are making a difference on the continent. Activate this global community to strategically mobilize their connections and financial and intellectual resources to address challenges of climate change
  • Invite a diverse group of climate-minded professionals to be a part of the African Diaspora Network’s Executive Leadership Council and Program Advisory Committees where they can shape how ADN incorporates climate change strategies in its programming

The other part of it is the symbolism of bringing Africa together. This symposium was the first time I thought of my power as a global Nigerian who, even after finally ‘returning home’, still considers herself part of the African Diaspora.
