About Cohort 4

In its fourth year, the ABLE program remains committed to supporting Black entrepreneurs in the United States who lead impact-driven, for-profit ventures. This year’s cohort features 16 visionary leaders from diverse sectors, including Community Engagement, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Education, EdTech, Gaming, Health & Wellness, Fintech, Transportation/Logistics, and Technology. These entrepreneurs are spread across ten states: California, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas, Wyoming, New York, Washington, D.C., and Georgia, each working to create meaningful impact within their industries and communities.

Will Drewery

Founder & CEO at Diagon

Will is an early-stage venture founder, tech investor, supply chain enthusiast, and experienced board member. He has brought complex technical products from concept to reality for iconic brands such as Tesla, Astra, and Bright Machines. A self-described “desert plant”, he knows how to thrive in harsh environments.
After years of experience building some of the world’s most innovative products, Will is on a mission to deploy assets to meet the ever-growing demands of the manufacturing industry. Will’s newest venture, Diagon is modernizing the way businesses procure manufacturing and automation equipment. Diagon’s team has previously been entrusted with $4.5 billion in capital expenditure (CAPEX) spend responsibility, and they are just getting started!
Will is passionate about building new solutions to our society’s biggest challenges. He is also an investor and board director for Mitra Chem, a tech startup empowering the global transition to clean energy by developing cheaper and longer lasting batteries for the electric vehicle and energy storage industries.
Will has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Carnegie Mellon University. In his free time, Will enjoys all things Harry Potter, resistance training, learning new languages, and building Lego sets with his two kids.
Accelerating Black Leadership and Entrepreneurship is an enterprise accelerator program designed to strengthen, energize, and support small businesses and nonprofit organizations led by Black entrepreneurs in the United States.
The ABLE Network-Building Forums are a learning series that provide a space for Black founders in the ABLE program to learn directly from and have community conversations with industry experts.
