As an African diaspora-led organization, ADN activates the power of the African diaspora to drive economic, social, and environmental transformation across Africa and the communities where we live. The diaspora remains deeply connected to the continent, with a vested interest in addressing the challenges that affect our families, communities, and countries.

According to the World Bank, the African diaspora sends approximately US$92 billion in remittances to Africa every year. Beyond supporting loved ones, these flows represent untapped potential to fuel innovation, impact investing, and social entrepreneurship.

ADN is a platform for action, channeling financial, intellectual, and social capital into investments that build sustainable economies and resilient communities. We support grassroots entrepreneurs across Africa and the U.S., catalyzing new approaches that transform remittances into gateways for long-term, impactful investments led by Africans for Africa.

We also champion the creation of a continental, collaborative voice that unites the historical, Afro-Caribbean, and contemporary Africans in the diaspora. ADN fosters partnerships that go beyond borders and national identities, promoting pan-African cooperation, community building, and shared prosperity.
