Dr Amadou Alpha Sall,
CEO of Institute Pasteur de Dakar

Dr Amadou A. Sall is the CEO of Institut Pasteur de Dakar in Senegal and director of the WHO collaborating center for Arboviruses and viral hemorrhagic fever. He has been chairman of the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network and a member of the has been member of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovation (CEPI) Scientific Advisory Board. Dr Sall is a virologist with a PhD in Public health. He is an expert in epidemics response and control more specifically for arboviruses and viral hemorrhagic fevers (Ebola, Zika, Yellow fever…). Dr Sall is member of several expert committees for WHO (GOARN, TDR, SAGE, STAG-IH…) and OIE. Dr Sall is the co-chair of the COVID 19 laboratory technical working group of Africa Center for Disease Control and member of the task force for COVID 19 in Senegal.

Josephine Fubara, PhD

Dr. Josephine Fubara is Chief Science Officer for Sanofi Consumer Health Care where she and her team are responsible for innovation for over a €5billion business. She is an R&D leader with over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Sanofi, Josephine was the Global R&D Head of all OTC categories at Bayer and spent 18+ years in various technical and business roles at Pfizer leading innovation and development in key categories like Pain, Respiratory and Digestive Health. Josephine obtained a Pharmacy degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria and a Ph.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Alan Main

Alan Main was until recently a member of the Sanofi Executive Committee and was appointed to his position as Executive Vice President, Consumer Healthcare in October 2016. He is a highly respected senior leader in the global consumer healthcare industry, with more than 30 years of marketing and general management experience in the consumer health and medical device fields. Originally from Scotland, Alan has worked and lived in the United States, Europe, Hong Kong, and South Africa. He was appointed as a GlobalScot by the Scottish Government in 2011.

Éliane Ubalijoro, PhD

DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR PROGRAMS AT GLOBAL OPEN DATA IN AGRICULTURE AND NUTRITION (GODAN)

Éliane Ubalijoro, PhD is the Deputy Executive Director for Programs at Global Open Data in Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN). She is a professor of practice for public and private sector partnerships at McGill University’s Institute for the Study of International Development where she co-led Bill and Melinda Gates Grand Challenges Exploration grants in agriculture and health. She is a member of Rwanda’s National Science and Technology Council. She is a member of the Presidential Advisory Council for Rwandan President Paul Kagame and the country’s National Council for Science and Technology. Éliane is a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences.
